The Delhi Metro, the country's largest network, makes almost every student belt commutable, which is why PGs within walking distance of a station command a premium. Hostels and PGs range from roughly ₹5,000 to ₹18,000 per month: North Delhi belts like Mukherjee Nagar, Kamla Nagar, and GTB Nagar sit at the affordable end, while South Delhi areas such as Hauz Khas, Saket, and Vasant Kunj sit at the top. Most PGs include WiFi and two meals, with electricity usually billed separately.
