Andheri East is a major commercial corridor with MIDC industrial area, Marol IT corridor and the SEEPZ special economic zone. The international airport terminal and several large office complexes drive strong PG demand from IT professionals, factory workers and airline staff.

Thane sits across the creek from Mumbai proper, connected by the Central and Trans-Harbour rail lines. Viviana Mall, Upvan Lake and the Yeoor Hills give it a distinctly greener feel than the island city. IT parks along Ghodbunder Road and Eastern Express Highway employ a growing white-collar workforce.

Goregaon is an important western suburb anchored by Film City (Dadasaheb Phalke Chitranagari), Oberoi Mall and the NESCO exhibition centre. The Western Line station and the upcoming Metro 2A line improve access. Both residential towers and older neighbourhoods coexist here.

Powai is an eastern suburb centred around Powai Lake and anchored by IIT Bombay's sprawling campus. Hiranandani Gardens, a planned township with restaurants, shops and residential towers, forms the core of the neighbourhood. Several tech companies and the Chandivali business district are nearby.

Andheri West is one of Mumbai's most active PG markets, driven by the Lokhandwala and Versova entertainment industry cluster, DN Nagar offices and the upcoming metro line. The area between Andheri station and Versova has thousands of PGs and shared apartments.

Saki Naka is an Andheri East junction where the Western Express Highway meets MIDC industrial roads. Saki Naka Metro (Line 1) links it to Ghatkopar and Versova. The surrounding area mixes garment factories, small IT offices and residential towers.

Dadar is Mumbai's central junction, the only station served by both the Western and Central Railway lines. Shivaji Park, the Portuguese Church and the busy Dadar market are local landmarks. The dual-line metro access makes it one of the most commuter-friendly locations in the city.

Marine Lines runs along Mumbai's western seafront between Churchgate and Charni Road, with the Marine Drive promenade as its defining feature. The Marine Lines station on the Western Railway connects to the rest of the western suburbs. Several colleges, offices and hospitals are in the surrounding area.
