Agam Kuan is a historic neighbourhood in eastern Patna, named after an ancient well believed to date to the Mauryan era. Sri Krishna Puri is a calm residential area near Boring Road and the east Boring Canal, popular with students and professionals who want quieter living without straying far from the coaching belt. The neighbourhood has parks, small markets, and a more settled, family-oriented feel compared to the busy stretches of Boring Road itself. PGs here are in demand during the coaching-admission season. The walking distance to major coaching centres on Boring Road gives this area a clear advantage for study-focused renters.

Rajbansi Nagar is a residential area near Kankarbagh, offering a similar profile of inexpensive housing and local amenities. The area is primarily residential with neighbourhood shops, schools, and basic services that cover daily requirements. PGs here are economical and draw students or working-class tenants who find the coaching belt's rents too high. Access to central Patna is via Kankarbagh main roads, with auto-rickshaws and shared autos available throughout the day.

Gandhi Maidan is the large open ground at the heart of Patna, bordered by Fraser Road, Exhibition Road, and Ashok Rajpath. The surrounding area is central Patna's civic and cultural hub, with courts, government buildings, museums, and landmarks nearby. PG demand here comes from law students at Patna High Court, government-office interns, and young professionals. It is one of the most accessible spots in the city with bus and auto metro access in every direction, though rents reflect the prime central location.

Digha is a growing area on the southern outskirts of Patna along the Patna–Gaya road, close to AIIMS Patna. The closeness to AIIMS drives steady PG demand from medical students, residents, and hospital staff. The area is newer and less congested, with ongoing residential construction and improving services. Rents are lower than the city centre, which keeps it attractive for budget-conscious medical students who need a convenient base near the campus without the premium of established central parts of town.

Kidwaipuri is a compact residential colony near the Patna Secretariat and the state government office cluster. It attracts government employees, interns, and professionals who need to be close to administrative offices on a daily basis. PG choices are limited but in steady demand due to the niche location advantage. The area is well served by transit to Fraser Road and Gandhi Maidan, so it's easy to reach courts, banks, and the city's commercial heart. Rents are moderate for the central positioning.
