Sundarapuram is a residential area in south-west Coimbatore, close to the Coimbatore–Pollachi road. It has newer residential developments and a quieter profile than the city centre. PG choices are limited and primarily serve workers and students at institutions on the southern and western sides of the city. The area is growing with new housing, and rents remain low-cost. Daily needs are available locally, though the selection is narrower than in established central areas.
