Dayal Bagh is known for the Radhasoami Satsang campus and its associated educational institutions, including the Dayalbagh Educational Institute (DEI). PG demand comes primarily from DEI students and the spiritual community around the campus. The area has a distinctive community character, cleaner, quieter, and more organized than most Agra neighbourhoods, with a cooperative economy, well-maintained roads, and a peaceful atmosphere.

Nunhai is Agra's other major leather and footwear cluster, adjacent to Belanganj, with a dense concentration of shoe manufacturing units, leather workshops, and raw-material suppliers. It attracts a large migrant workforce from across UP who work in the factories. PGs are basic shared rooms at the lowest rents in the city, designed for factory workers on daily or monthly arrangements.

Tajganj is the neighbourhood directly south of the Taj Mahal, dominated by tourism, hotels, restaurants, souvenir shops, and guide services line its streets. PG demand comes from hospitality workers, small traders, and students at nearby colleges who want to be in the heart of Agra's tourist economy. The area is busy, dense, and colourful, with basic rooms available at low rents in the lanes behind the main tourist strip.

Belanganj is the heart of Agra's leather and footwear industry, with tanneries, shoe factories, and leather goods workshops lining its streets. PG demand is driven by factory workers, artisans, and traders in the shoe business who need to live within walking distance of their workplace. Rooms are basic and very budget, suited to the working-class population of this dense, industrially active zone.

Avas Vikas Colony is a government-developed housing scheme on Agra's outskirts with planned blocks, wider roads, and designated green spaces. It is one of the more organized neighbourhoods in the city and appeals to government employees and professionals who prefer structured neighbourhoods. PG picks are reasonably priced and the colony's planned layout gives it a cleaner, more ordered feel than the organic old-city areas.

Sikandra is known for Akbar's Tomb and sits on the Agra-Delhi highway, giving it a mixed residential-tourist character with heritage sites and highway commerce. The area is quieter and less congested than central Agra, offering cheap accommodation along the highway corridor. PGs here suit those working at highway-side businesses, nearby educational institutions, or anyone who prefers a less dense neighbourhood.

Idgah Colony is a residential area near the Idgah bus stand, Agra's main intercity bus terminal. Its nearness to the bus terminal makes it convenient for intercity commuters, transport workers, and new arrivals looking for a base. PG rooms are low-cost and basic, in a mostly residential neighbourhood that is busy near the bus stand but calmer in the inner lanes.

Kalindi Vihar is a residential development on the Trans-Yamuna side of Agra, offering newer construction, planned layouts, wider roads, and parks. It attracts families and professionals who want more space at lower rents than the old-city side of Agra. PG choices are limited but are in modern buildings with better room configurations and fresher interiors than the dense central neighbourhoods.
