About Dadar West
Dadar West is one of the few genuinely central Mumbai addresses where a PG is still realistic. Dadar station is the interchange between the Western and Central lines, which is why residents here can reach most of the city without a second train — the trade-off is that the station and its markets stay crowded from early morning. Ruia and Ruparel colleges, the Institute of Hotel Management and NIFT are all within a short ride, and Lower Parel and BKC offices are close enough for a daily commute. Shivaji Park, Dadar Chowpatty and the flower market are the landmarks locals navigate by. Rents run higher than the suburbs, so most PG rooms here are shared rather than single.
