PGs target students, coaching aspirants, and professionals, many drawn by the organised colony layout and the footprint of schools like Subodh and St. Xavier's. Rents are reasonably priced, and the colony's parks, community centres, and local markets make it one of the more liveable Jaipur neighbourhoods for long-term renters.

Jagatpura has developed rapidly as a student residential hub, anchored by JECRC, Poornima, and Manipal University campuses along the Jaipur–Tonk highway. PGs are low-cost and purpose-built for students, typically offering meals and shared rooms in three-or-four-bed configurations. The area is farther from Jaipur's centre than Malviya Nagar, which keeps rents noticeably lower. Tonk Road transport links and frequent shared autos to the university belt handle daily commutes. New food outlets, stationery shops, and photocopying services have cropped up to serve the student population.

Pratap Nagar is a developing residential area south of Malviya Nagar along the Tonk Road stretch. It draws students from nearby engineering and management colleges, as well as workers who want more cheap rents than central Malviya Nagar. The area is expanding with new housing projects and improving local amenities, including grocery stores, coaching centres, and healthcare clinics that reduce dependence on the busier Malviya Nagar market.

Sanganer is a historic town on Jaipur's southern edge, famous for its hand-block printing and paper-making industries. Jaipur International Airport is located here, and the area attracts PG seekers working at the airport, nearby industrial estates, or the Sitapura IT corridor. Rents are lower than central Jaipur, and the area has a spread of traditional craft-town and modern suburban development.

Vaishali Nagar is one of Jaipur's most popular residential areas, known for its planned layout, parks, and a dense cluster of coaching centres for IIT-JEE and medical entrance exams. PG demand is high from competitive-exam aspirants, especially those preparing for engineering, medical, and civil-services exams, as well as professionals who commute to Ajmer Road or central Jaipur. The area is self-sufficient with schools, hospitals, shopping complexes, and entertainment options. Rents are moderate to high, reflecting the neighbourhood's popularity and network quality.

Gopalpura stretches along the Gopalpura Bypass in south-west Jaipur, a long commercial-residential corridor connecting Tonk Road to Ajmer Road. PGs serve students at nearby engineering and management colleges, and workers commuting to the Sitapura and Mansarovar industrial zones.

Malviya Nagar is one of Jaipur's largest and most popular residential areas, stretching along the Tonk Road corridor south of the city centre. Engineering and medical college students, coaching aspirants preparing for JEE, NEET, and civil services, and IT professionals form the core PG market. The area has a well-developed commercial market with malls like WTP and GT Central, hospitals, restaurants, and a dense cluster of coaching centres. Metro transit access via the Tonk Road line and a self-sufficient neighbourhood economy make Malviya Nagar one of Jaipur's most liveable areas for renters.

Sitapura is Jaipur's main IT and industrial corridor, anchored by the Sitapura Industrial Area and the RIICO technology zone. Most PG demand comes from young professionals working at software companies, BPOs, and manufacturing units along the Tonk Road stretch. Rentals in Sitapura are more inexpensive than central Jaipur, and short distance to the workplace matters here, the industrial area stretches several kilometres, so exact location within Sitapura affects the daily commute.
