Gachibowli is Hyderabad's second major tech zone after HITEC City, home to DLF IT Park, Wipro campus, the University of Hyderabad and the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium. The Financial District is on its border.

Madhapur is the heart of Hyderabad's tech economy, home to Cyber Towers, the HITEC City IT park entrance and hundreds of tech companies. The area also has one of the city's best dining and nightlife scenes, centred around Durgam Cheruvu and Inorbit Mall.

Secunderabad is Hyderabad's twin city, anchored by the Secunderabad Railway Junction, one of south India's busiest stations. The Cantonment area, Parade Ground and Rashtrapati Nilayam are local landmarks. The metro connects Secunderabad to Ameerpet and onwards.

Kondapur is a residential area wedged between HITEC City and Gachibowli, so it's one of the most practical PG locations for IT workers. The area has grown rapidly with apartment complexes, restaurants and supermarkets serving the tech population.

Ameerpet is Hyderabad's coaching and training hub, packed with software training institutes, competitive exam centres and skill development academies. The Ameerpet metro station is the interchange between the Red and Blue lines, leaving it the city's most connected point.

KPHB (Kukatpally Housing Board) is a planned residential colony within Kukatpally, with numbered phases, parks and neighbourhood markets. JNTU campus is adjacent, and the metro serves the area.

Miyapur is the western terminus of the Hyderabad Metro's Blue Line, located beyond Kukatpally towards the city's outer limits. The area has seen rapid residential growth with new apartment complexes, though commercial setup is still developing.

Uppal is an eastern Hyderabad area at the junction of the Warangal Highway and the road to Habsiguda. ECIL (Electronics Corporation of India) and DMRL (Defence Metallurgical Research Lab) are nearby, along with the Uppal Metro station.
