Connaught Place—usually called CP—is the circular commercial centre of New Delhi. Its Inner and Outer Circles are known for their white colonnaded buildings, offices, shops, restaurants and entertainment venues, with Central Park at the core. Delhi Tourism identifies CP as one of Delhi’s major business, financial and commercial centres, so the area has a very different rhythm from a primarily residential neighbourhood.
